Prize Tournament Rules

These rules apply to OneVib Trivia tournaments with prizes. Taking part is free; by applying you accept these rules.

Organiser

Prize tournaments are organised by OneVib. Contact details are in the legal notice; questions about a tournament go to support@onevib.com.

Who can take part

You can take part if you are at least 18, your OneVib account is complete and at least 3 days old, your phone number is verified, your profile has a photo, and you are not excluded from tournaments. Each person may use only one account. Taking part is free and never requires a purchase.

Seats

Each tournament has a limited number of seats, shown on its card. Seats go to the first eligible members who apply.

How a game works

Every player gets the same question at the same moment and has up to one minute to answer. The first correct answer that reaches OneVib wins the question; each player can answer each question once. The player with the most won questions wins; on a tie, tie-break questions decide, then the faster total answer time.

Prizes

The prizes for the first three places are shown on each tournament card. The amount depends on whether the winner has an active Premium or Premium+ subscription when the tournament starts: the higher amount with a subscription, the lower amount without. A subscription taken out after the start does not change the prize. One prize per person per tournament.

Fair play

Playing for someone else, using several accounts, playing together with others on one result, automated answers and any other attempt to gain an unfair advantage are not allowed. OneVib checks every prize tournament for such cases using account, device and connection information, and checks every winner before a payout.

Exclusion

A player who breaks these rules is removed from the tournament, loses any prize from it and is excluded from tournaments for 30 days. OneVib informs the player by e-mail with the reason; the player can reply to that e-mail to have the decision reviewed.

Payout

Winners are asked in the app to set up a payout account with PayPal or Stripe. The prize is paid in euros within 14 days after the payout account is set up. A prize whose payout account is not set up within 30 days after the tournament lapses.

Recording and publication

By applying you agree that OneVib may record the game (the questions, your answers and score, your first name and profile photo) and publish it on OneVib and its social media. Winners may be named with their first name.

Cancellation and changes

If fewer players than the minimum on the card take part, the tournament is cancelled and no prizes are awarded. If a technical problem affects a tournament, OneVib may repeat or cancel it. OneVib may change these rules for future tournaments.
