How OneVib helps people connect through music

OneVib is built around a simple idea: music gives people a natural way to notice each other, start a conversation, and understand whether the energy feels right.

Start with songs, not empty profiles

A OneVib profile begins with music. Members add up to ten top songs, short stories about why they matter, and the genres they love. That is what OneVib uses to find people whose music overlaps with yours.

Your full list stays private. Other members only see the songs and genres you both picked, so a profile shows what you have in common instead of putting your whole taste on display.

Discover people with context

Discover puts people near you first, then the best music fit, then the people who are active. A strong music fit comes from shared songs, the same song at the same position in both lists, shared artists, or shared genres.

OneVib also keeps people out of your Discover cards who should not be there: blocked or reported accounts, hidden profiles, deleted users, people you are already connected with, and people whose age and gender preferences do not fit yours, in both directions.

Move from connection to conversation

When two people like each other, they are connected and can chat. The chat opens with the songs you share, so the first message can start with something you both care about.

Friend codes give members a deliberate way to connect with people they already know. Reports, blocks, moderation tools and account controls keep that social layer manageable.

Play, compare, and come back

Trivia Battle and Reality Check are social tools, not just side features. They create light moments people can share, compare, or use to restart a conversation.

Competitive Trivia rooms use shared room rules so every player is in the same game at the same moment. Solo rounds remain personal practice.
