A music dating app: meet people through the songs you love
Photos and short bios say little about whether two people will get along. Music says more: the songs someone keeps coming back to show their mood, their memories and the moments they care about. OneVib is a dating app that starts there.
Why music works for dating
A shared song is an easy first question. Instead of a generic greeting, you can ask about the concert, the summer or the person behind a song you both love.
Music taste also travels well across first impressions: people who love the same artists often enjoy the same places, the same evenings and the same kind of conversation.
How OneVib matches you by music
You add up to ten top songs and the genres you like. OneVib compares them with other members: shared songs, the same song at the same position in both lists, shared artists and shared genres.
Each Discover card shows how well your music fits: Top music fit, Strong music fit or Connection. Closer people and better fits come first, and you can narrow the cards to the gender and ages you want to meet.
Your music stays yours
Other members never see your full list of songs and genres. They see only the music you share with them, so a profile shows common ground instead of putting your whole taste on display.
You choose what else is on your profile, and Premium+ members can hide their age or location on their cards.
From a like to a first message
When you like someone and they like you back, you are connected. The chat opens with the songs you share, ready to be the start of the conversation.
OneVib is for adults only. Reports, blocks and moderation are built in, and a report keeps that person out of your Discover cards for good.
